Hillside, NJ — Craig Epps, a longtime public servant and current Democratic mayoral candidate, has officially launched his campaign for Mayor of Hillside. With a message focused on fiscal responsibility, community engagement, and public safety, Epps is rallying support under the slogan: “Let’s Bring Common Sense Back to Town Hall.”
Epps’ vision for Hillside includes stabilizing taxes through responsible financial planning, reopening the municipal swimming pool, enhancing police and fire safety, and improving communication between the Township and the School District. He also aims to prioritize essential services such as street cleanliness, snow removal, and recreation programs for youth and seniors.
Running alongside Epps are Council at Large candidates Calvin Lofton and Armando DaSilva, Council Member Lisa Bonann, and Council Member Dr. Angela Garretson of the 2nd Ward.
“This campaign is about putting Hillside residents first,” Epps said. “We’re focused on solutions that are practical, inclusive, and sustainable.”
